It has long been acknowledged that the most important and effective form of support is Peer Support. Les Scaife, who has been involved in developing suppport systems in the UK since 2000, is passionate about peer support and has set up the Lancashire Peer Support Service as well as other supports groups in UK.
Les will be joining us for a morning of discussion, sharing of ideas and learning about the benefits of peer support and direct payments.
This is a morning tea not to be missed as Les shares his expertise and journey in setting up effective support groups for people with disabilities and their families.
