Defend our NDIS – National Day of Action

On Thursday 28 April 2022, The National Day of Action event is where you want to be!

This is an opportunity to hear people’s stories around  unexplained NDIS plan funding cuts that are leaving people with disability without the crucial supports and services they need.  Come along  and defend the NDIS, showcasing how vital it is, prior to the upcoming federal election.

Thursday’s event will be opened by Senator Jordon Steele-John and provide a  platform for people with disability to share their NDIS experiences and concerns with candidates for Swan, the most marginal seat in Western Australia.   At this event politicians will be urged  to guarantee NDIS funding and defend the NDIS from unexplained plan cuts that are currently leaving local people with disability without critical supports.

Valued Lives is among many organisations who want to ensure the scheme is delivered the way it was intended, especially as an estimated 48,000 West Australians with disability will be part of the NDIS by 2023.
